Link a custom button to the ask a quation modal

Dear all,

first of all Virtuemart is a very nice product for webshop possibilities. As I am new to this product I am struggling with some issues. One of them is the ask a question possibility.

I am using Joomla 2.5.6 and VM 2.0.8.

As you can see at the testsite: http://www.kunsthandel.leadtosale.nl/index.php/component/virtuemart/gerrit-bakker/bloemen-op-vaas-detail?Itemid=0 the ask a question button (in Dutch it says Vraag informatie aan) is shown in the product page. At the bottom of the page you also see a custom button which is now attached to a othe form module.

What I would like to see is when a visitor clicks at the dark button at the bottom of the page the ask a question modal is shown. Second is that the ask a question link should then not be shown in the page.

Is this possible? And if so how can this be realized?
