got a bug in template??

Hey guys,

i was searching in the forum for a solution but found nothing and also cant figure it out by my own so please help!!!!

I´m using VM 1.1.8 under joomla 1.5. on my local apache.

as base for the template i used ja_larix and made all the necesary changes to fit it to my needs.

Now: on my local webserver on the category pages it shows 2 products per row BUT on my webserver it just show 1 product per row and i don´t know why. . 
i configured the two vms exactly the same way and also uploaded all template files correctly. .

but some how it´s not the same. .  don´t know where i´m wrong. .  hope someone could help because the deadline is really near. . . 5th of august

this is my shop config under VM-administration > admin > configuration > site ->

theme: ja_larix
default number of prod. in a row: 2
category template: ja_vm_cat_browse
flypage: flypage.tpl
