Hi, after an upgrade from Virtuemart 2.0.2 to 2.0.6 I have the following errors:
1. The Currency Selector does not display any currencies, but instead the following error (on my testserver):
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /Applications/XAMPP/xamppfiles/htdocs/Joomla/libraries/joomla/html/html/select.php on line 504
(It looks like the table of currencies would be empty)
Inside Virtuemart Admin I have the full list of currencies displayed, can add new ones, but nothing happens. On the website, the error pertains.

2. After the upgrade I suddenly have double modules:
Currencies Selector and VM - Currencies Selector
This goes for all Virtuelmart modules. It looks like the upgrade added modules of the same name, but with "VM - " in front

3. Version 2.0.6a vs. 2.0.6 of virtuemart-aio
After the upgrade which was done from the virtuemart-aio menu, I still get the message:
There is a new Version
Installed Version 2.0.6a
Newest Version 2.0.6

Why this ?

I am also facing this problem but no response from anyone here.
Feels like virtuemart is made for only coders.

muhammad0mujahid,

Hi we are now in the area of version 2.0.8 version e.  In this version I have see only one request in regards to the currency selector - amongst nearly 20,000 downloads. So we need to check what version you have? What currency you are requesting, have you implemented - In the Shop>>currency selector have you clicked your version. ? In configration countries is the country published and are all the settings correct? What version of software are you using? did you update - did you find in the modules at the back end that they are published? in the back end is the currency selector turn on or off. ( this should not make a difference really).
Have a look and see if some modules are doubling in the back end of the store.
* have you uploaded -your store from FTP - and had trouble like the post below - or is it a live site developed online ?
Have you - upgraded or reinstalled the software again over the top.

Could you post an image of your shop - currency configuration.  Some of these might get close for others to sort out a solution.
Thanks

Sydiom

I discovered that it gives this error warning on the page if you have not gone into your Shop in VM and actually made your currency choice.

Go to "Shop -> Vendor" settings in Virtuemart and add required currencies for "List of accepted currencies:".

Important to note that the currency settings are not set in the Module (Module VirtueMart Currency Selector), but in the Shop part of Virtuemart.

Hope this helps.
