Compatible with Multipaysafe

Hello,

We have a Multipaysafe account and we have Virtuemart 2.0.8c.
The problem is that, currently, there is no plugin for Virtuemart 2.0.8.  There is one for the previous version.
Multipaysafe told me they are developing one right now but it still might take some time. That is sad news!
I was wondering does Virtuemart know any other way how we can still implement our Multipaysafe account in our webshop?
If that is not possible than what kind of online  payment service  is the best supported  with the latest virtuemart ?
We are desperate to get our store up and running !
