remove the +/- from sort by and have it say price low to high, instead

Hello, I cant find anything in the default.php for the category view to change the +/- button and instad have it say price low to high, or price high to low. I feel the +/- button idea just doesn't work. can anyone help me figure this out? thank you!

Chris - you can probably shut off the +/- in the language files.

Has there been any development on this.  I am using 2.0.10 and need the default sort by price to be highest to lowest.   I can't find which file to manipulate.  Please help!!!

Hello,

In Backend, go to Virtuemart / Configuration /Sort Product

Here, you choose your sorting criteria and apply them.

You may know you have to have almost One option selected.

I have done that, but when I go to the frontend website and choose "sort by price", it sorts by lowest price first.  I need it to sort by highest price first.
