Product Images are Not Displayable. Lightbox Not Working.

Hi there,

We have: Joomla! 2.5.0, VirtueMart 2.0.3. Product images are not displayable in the cart page, cart popup window. Only this:



In the pruduct pages thumbnails are not visible as well, only the main image. Also lightbox not working.

Any suggestion?

Hi erik88,

this could be due to many factors - the browser you use, the old software of joomla ( media scripts) or old VM and the integration between them all.

* Update your browser
* update joomla to 2.5.6
* update VM to at least 2.0.3 or 2.0.8 ? ( current format)

Hi i have the same issue.
I am using
Joomla 2.5.6
VMart 2.0.8a
I think i am probably doing some very stupid because i cant seem to get these links to work i have included some links below as examples

and when you click on the view all products button it doesnt link.

I am very new to Vmart so havent quite got my head around how it works but any help would be much appreciated.

I have the latest browser versions. I updated Joomla to 2.5.6, - the problem still there. I already have VM 2.0.3 and updated it to 2.0.8 but gained more problems besides this one and downgraded it again to version 2.0.3.

I uploaded images for thumbnails but this is how they are visible in the back-end:



Possible it will help. Any more suggestions?

When you are uploading the images what file type are you using? and have your image names got any spaces or funny characters in? i had a similar problem in Joomla once and it was due to the file type using JPG instead of jpg (caps were the cause) and some spaces in words were causing similar issues may help.

There are images in PNG format without spaces and other characters. Just one.png, two.png etc. When I try to add image to a product everything is fine. I found the solution with image visability by manually adding Used thumb url path to the Product Images tab of the product in back-end. Then lightbox is working and image is visible everywhere. But thereby I have to manually upload images through FTP and manually add Used thumb url paths to every product.

When I try to add additional images to the product via Media File Manager there is an error:
