Module Manager - Menu item setup as Virtuemart Category - how to style?

I have a menu category Jewelry with all my virtuemart Categories listed underneath it (labeled Virtuemart Category on the screenprint).  I would like to style it so that it lines up with under items in the left hand corner.  I know I could do this like I did with my html category (like is labeled html on the screenprint), but then if any categories get added the client would have to go in and manually add the new category on the list.   There must be a way to style it so it indents a couple of spaces instead of being flush on the left.

This has more to do with your template than Virtuemart. You will have to edit your templates css file and use margin or padding. Why don't you use Firebug to check where in your template.css do you have to make the change? Hope I was able to clarify some things.
