How to send email the new orders on the owner of the eshop-virtuemart 2.0.24

Hello,
I have a site on joomla 2.5 and virtuemart 2.0.24, I have set all the parameters. But when I have a new order, it doen't send me email. Can anyone think what I have wrong? where shound I look? Does anyone knows where do I set my email address to the site so it will send me email with the orders?
Please help me.

Hi ,

You should be in shop>> vendor >>invoices>>shopper information. ( you should see all three tabs)
In there you are the super user >> I presume and right at the bottom of that page.

after you filled in the vendors email. if that is you.

you will see a button that says receive the system emails.

also check in the Jooml;a Users area and see if you have the same email. It should be there but check.

Update : remember you only get an email sometimes iff and only if the order is paid for: in some circumstances eg. paypal. 
make the product free and test.
