Virtuemart shopper group / user approval

Hi

I have seen a few similar topics, but none that solve my issue 100%.

I am creating a website with 4 different price points / shopper groups.

The site displays default (retail) prices to the public.

The other 3 price points are trade prices - registration for these shopper groups requires admin approval.

Ideally the user should be able to select one of the price points and if it is one of the 3 trade groups, then the account is sent to admin for approval.

Any workarounds would be greatly appreciated.
