Select payment method on cart view?

Is there a way to make it so you can see the payment methods on the cart page so the customer doesn't have to click "change payment"

I have made a plugin for ANZ egate and currently you need to go change payment and type in your credit card details but I want to have it so the customer doesn't need to go to a different page to put those details in.

@tomshirvo:  As I know, your required feature will have in a "single checkout page" addon/hack.
The bad thing is there has no solution available (?!) for VirtueMart 2 until now. Seem that those are under-development
