I have now been working with the new Virtuemart for a few weeks and I must say it's fantastic. I have one question, is it possible to save price changes history easily?
My own idea is to make separate mysql table and then when user saves; a few lines insert the price info also to that separate table. Then there would be added a button next to price form to show price history in popup for example.
What do you think about this and is there any easier way to do this? I think this function could be useful for others too. :)
We are thinking about an extra logging component. All tables with the fields modified_on and modified_by are then loggable. But I fear that will take time until the new year.
