Hello,
after update to the newest Joomla 3.4.7 I have difficulties to add item to cart. I was able to add item to cart once from 5 occasions but wasnt able to register/checkout.
When I changed Session Handler to NONE, its OK but if its as Database there is problem to add product to cart and finish checkout.
Please could someone help ASAP. My site is e-commerce site and live.

PHP 5.6
Had the same problem..
dump all cookies, clear caches, close browser and restart .. finally mine came good.. don't know which one did it
if still doesn't work then check an 3rd party stuff using $_SESSION .. if it interacts with Joomla/VM it should use the JSession now
why is your VM so old?

I did the same yesterday. cleared everything, flushed static server cache and it solved the issue. But I tried it today and had the same issue so assuming its not working correctly again.
I have updated VM to 3.0.12 yesterday but with errors and had issues so have reverted it back to stable 3.0.8
How do I check $_SESSION ?
Just tried again, and had same issue even the Session Handler is set as NONE :(

I can add product to cart now, since I wasnt able to do it it started to work..... I cant replicate the issue again (cleared all cache), will check it tomorrow...

I a using Virtuemarttemplates.net template and VP One page checkout www.estilofina.sk
VP OPC is using JSession
did u clear cookies? This imho clears the session.. not the cache
Yes I did clear cookies, as well as browser cache, server static cache.
When I accessed my website www.estilofina.sk for a first time (tried from mobile) and if I wanted to add a product to cart it doesnt work, I just got a page stating that the card is empty. After that I have repeated the step and I was able to add a product to cart.

Problem still persist even with update to J3.4.8. One of the customers just send email he is not able to add product to cart using either PC or mobile. When he tried to add product to cart he got just page saying the cart is empty.
I was able to complete checkout for this customer from my PC.
Any idea ?

Customer confirmed it was the first time he visited my site today, he uses IE11 and Chrome on S6

Very hard to know.. all my clients sites are now on J3.4.8 and not a single one has reported any problems...

try with this switched off for a while..
