One Page Checkout for VirtueMart 2 released!

Hi,

I'm using VM2.0.18a & OPC 4.6

I often had the problem that some customers called me and told that they wheren't able to checkout because the preloader stays and stays....
Today i got the first call from a customer who knows wich browser he's using: Internet Explorer 8....

So i've done some tests on my own and it seems that the preloader isn't working with IE8 & IE7...(and i've more visitors with IE8 then IE9 or 10)

I've solved it by turning the preloader "off"; now it seems like everything is working like it should with these old browsers...

So i would like to ask if i've got any disadvantages without the preloader, or it is only for  the optics?

Hi Otto, Animated loading gif image "preloader" works in all browsers. It seems that there is a JavaScript conflict. Can you please provide website url?

Hi, Upgrade VirtueMart to stable version (vm2.0.18, 2.0.20, 2.0.22 etc..). VM 2.0.21g isn't stable.

Hi David, We did not test Amazon Checkout with the One Page Checkout Plugin. Please send the request to linelab@linelab.org,  we will add this feature ASAP

Admittedly, the Linelabs plugin does provide a significant improvement over the default.


I have noticed though that the plugin does not allow me to enter zeroes into the product quantity box. Previously this was the only way to remove a product from the cart.

I have quite a complicated shop. Some products having 2, 3, 4 or 5 colour and style options associated and they will be creating quite long shopping lists. I expect they will get one or two wrong and will need to remove them from the list. There is now no way to do this!!!!

Fixed: State list not loaded on initial visit (default country must be enabled in plugin configuration)
This update is recommended if you are using responsive version of OPC.
