HI All,

OK I'm using Joomla 1.7.2, I installed VM 2.0 RC I. I can't find any place to edit this and make this work. Can anybody help me?

Thanks, that was easy enough, but how do I set up or configure the terms of service? Otherwise everybody will face this.

PRO

1st you fill in the terms of service

THEN, in you config it has a checkbox to "require accept TOS"

screamingfingers

Thanks that doesn't help me. I can not find any place to do that. Is there a way to disable this?

PRO

what have you done?

what I told you is what you do

I went into my account and selected agree to terms. That did not help, because it still shows up even though I did. I still get a 500 error when I click on edit. See images.

  • This is going to happen to every shopper
  • How do I edit this (clicking the this button takes me to a non-existant page)
  • How do I disable this?

YES,

MILBO, the "red box" shows even after TOS have been configured

AND OP , you need to create a link to the virtuemart default layout.

Hi

I was also scratching my head for several hours how to change ToS text.
Than I noticed green "Is a vendor" button.
So, in order to assign shop vendor (owner) you must:
- click "Shoppers" button
- select desired username
- click "Is a vendor" button

Only after that owner can access and change ToS text

- than click Shop button and you'll see previously hidden Vendor tab.

Maybe this will save someones hair (leftovers)  :P

BY THE WAY if you have multiple vendors like I had for some reason then the 2nd half this topic - http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=99353.0 will be useful.
