how to display ONLY selected categories in mod_virtuemart

hi, could someone help me, how to display for example 3 selected categories from VM in mod_virtuemart and other 3 selected different categories in mod_category? is there any way how to filter categories in these modules? i need to create VM looks like 2 eshops in one. thanks a lot.

You'd better use Joomla menu items that link to VM category.
