How can I remove the label "hot" or "sale" from my products?

Hello, I'm new working on Joomla 3.4.1 and Virtuemart 3.0.6.2. I'm creating a new site, and I'm inserting products. I would like to know why does in each image appear a coloured round with written "hot", or "sale"? I would like that my images were clean, without any label or round mark above or around it. I've searched everywhere, but I can't find where I can remove this or how I can avoid that this appears at all. Can anybody help me, please?

Firstly your Joomla and VirtueMart versions are seriously out of date and insecure. You should update, but test on a backup copy of your site in case your template overrides also need updating.  http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=118683.0

As for the labels being added, this is not part of default VirtueMart so must be coming from your Joomla template - you could contact the template developer to ask about the removal, or maybe hide using css.

:D Thank you for your quick reply! I updated all. Now I work with Joomla 3.4.8 and Virtuemart 3.0.7.4, then I've hidden two lines in the template .css regarding those labels "hot" which I wanted to disappear, and the problem has gone! It worked! Yuppii!  :D
