Use default value for new members

Hello there

i have created a radio field and i have set as default value one value of my radio field options. I also use bit conditional plugin in order to show/hide some fields. My problem is that if someone registers, then it seems like this field does not have a selected value at all and user has to select the value he wants. I want each new user to have the default value at this radio field selected.

where did you make this field? In the shopper fields admin?

Yes inside vm shopper fields i created a radio field called payment. I added 2 options with values invoice and receipt. Then at default value i entered the value receipt.

But if i register new user this field is not taking the default value, is blank

then in theory should work - but just tried and it doesn't

appears to be a bug

just tried with a select - this does respect the default
