Suggestion to improve the look of virtuemart.net website

Not sure who to address for this one, I tried starting a topic in the "About Virtuemart" forum, but for some reason there is no "New topic button there".

For my own website I was looking around the web for a new template. Then I came across this one, and it instantly reminded me of the virtuemart.net front page.

You guys have probably heard of yootheme. I am more or less assuming you are running the website on Joomla. 

Anyway, the block usage and a sky like blue/white background reminded me. Maybe a fresh new more modern look good be a good thing for the virtuemart.net website? Just a thought.
