solved Multi language site virtuemart one language showing 404 error Update

I have a 2 language site http://mardigras.ca/newsite/ the french side of things works without a problem, Joomla works fine on the english side but virtuemart is showing me a 404 error when going into each individual category or products when I click the shop in the main menu I get Category id 0 not published. On the backend all categories and products are published and show for each language. Anybody have any ideas as to where the problem is have multiple similar setups working without a problem.

I had updated both joomla and virtuemart yesterday, I restored from backup before updates and the problem no longer exists. It is definately after updating virtuemart to 2.0.24, that caused the break in one of the languages.
