Custom Fiels Positions

Hello all
im building a ecommerce site using Joolla! 2.5.4 and VirtueMart 2.0.6

in my products page i have a picture on the left hand site with a custom field dropdown box for my child products and an add to cart at the top right of the picture.

what i want to do is add the product description below the add to cart to the right of the picture.

i thought i could do this with a text box custom field but i cant position this to the right of the picture

any ideas either what position i need to put the custom field in to acheive this or what i should use instead?

are you trying to move the product description? or create a new text field?

i want the product description to apear on the right hand side of the product page next to the picture

thank you, thats exactly what i need

i dont know if this is somthing i will find in the litriture you have sent me lthe link for but the other thing im trying to do is put 2 things next to each other for example:
instead of having

product short description
--------------------------------------------
                          |      price
  product picture  |      add to cart
                          |      product main description


i want:

Product short description   |      price
                                       |      add to cart     
--------------------------------------------------------------------
                                        |  product main description
Product Picture                  | 


when i move the code it puts the cart and prices under the product short description instead of next to it
