problems moving from testing server to real site

Hi Have Joomla 2.52 and VM2.02

I have moved a site from my testing server to real server and got some issues.

testing server http://davetesting.info/

real site http://surfandsnow.com.au



I do not believe that the real site VM is correctly configured after changing domains.

I have compared all the settings after uploading and they seem correct.

BUT

1.   Products are not being added to cart.

2.   The cs does have the .medium-image{width:300px;}  but is not being picked up. So the image is large in the detail view.

3.   The shipping module is listing the different weights not just automatically handling them like the test site does.

So somewhere this is something I have missed when transferring from test.

I have changed the joomla configs and seems all good. Databases are correct.

Is there a vm config I need to change somewhere?

All I could find was an outdated post that was for an older version.

Did you use Akeeba to move the site? That is the only way that works almost every time.

No I did this manually...

But previously (without VM) was no worries. So thinking maybe vm??

Guess what, cleared the F%%%ing cach and all is well.

So the manual move was successful!

I'd ban caches - I wasted an hour the other day because of a caching issue in Chrome. Good to know I'm not the only one to get caught out....
