Virtuemart Products Module error in content loadposition

Have just come across and issue with the Virtuemart Products Module - latest 2.0.2 stable version - only seems to be with Joomla 2.5 from what I can tell.

When I insert a Virtuemart Products Module via {loadposition ...} in my content area, it loses the currency symbol ($) and first two digits off the price. However it appears perfect in the same module I have loading in a module position right beside it on the page.
