Custom product ordering not saved

The algorithm is described which leads to an error:
For example, I sorted the products within a category in the order I want.
Further, the list of products, I use the filter without specifying the category, simply do a search by product name.
I opened for editing multiple items by pressing the middle mouse button (on different tabs in the browser).
Edit the description of the goods, save each of them.
After that, each of these products sort value is set to 1.
