I am creating a shopping cart for a printing shop and I will need to have a checkout that let's people select quantities. For example, you can order business cards in quantities of 100, 250, 500 or 1000.

I would like my customers to select the product "Business Cards" and then from there select their quantity (100, 250, 500, 1000) from a dropdown menu. Oh, also, each quantity has a slightly different price because we are giving a discount to larger quantities. I've tried to use custom fields for this purpose, but after spending about 4 hours on it I've determined that this is the wrong strategy.

Here is my mess: https://fourthstreettest.com.s68436.gridserver.com/index.php/component/virtuemart/business-cards/business-cards21-detail?Itemid=0

Any thoughts on how to proceed, or do I need to give up?

Hi Polished Geek. thanks.

I think the answer is maybe. But it looks like I'll have to spend $50 to find out. I'll have to think on that. I don't know if I should spend $50 on this experiment.
