Double Image showing on Product Details page when click to zoom.

Joomla 2.5.4 VM2

When thumbnails are clicked on to zoom images on product details page two images are displayed- one in white box and one with transparent background below first image. If user then clicks on thumbnail for a 2nd time only one image displays but it often distorted in perspective.

Not sure where to start with this one as new VM user.
