How do I put in my cost of product?

Hello, VM community and thanks in advance for your help.  Sorry if this is already on the board but I've sent the last few hours going through the board and maybe it is just that I don't know the correct terminology.

I want to include in the cart my cost for products because I want this to integrate with Quickbooks and that is one of the fields for report generation.  How would I go about that?
