Importing products not visible in virtuemart

hi all,
i have this problem on virtuemart 2.
When i import product using CSVI, the plugin says uploaded, but when i check on virtuemart product list they are not visible; but when i change the language from italian to english (default) everything i have imported will be showed ... but of course my site change language too.
How can i keep VM in italian and import CSV files using CSVI ?
