need help with my feature products

Hi everyone,

Currently my main page have Feature products, but i hope to add in 2 more column and that is latest products and discounted products. Can anyone please guide me how to do it? I only know that on the products that i want to feature, just need to tick on the special under products, but how about latest products and discounted products? Thanks for everyone taking their time reading.

Latest product:
Login to your joomla administrator
Go to Virtuemart component
Select Virtuemart Admin Configuration
Select Site tab on the configuration menu
mark the 'Show the latest products on the frontpage?' checkbox
