Function when the payement is accepted

HEllo,

Where can I execute a function when the payment is accepted and how to debug it? I use paypal for the moment but when the payement is accepted the user stay on the paypal website even if the payement when accepted. He have the payapal confirmation message and a link to come back to our site. So I suppose that they are a processor to do that (non visual method => my question about how to debug it).

I saw in pluginresponse.php a method PayementResponseReceived() but it see that this method display some message so I suppose that it is the called when the use come back to the website.
