Payment Plugin Egate

I have started to create a payment plugin for ANZ egate.

I have run into a few things I cant figure out.

When the order goes through and is declined it comes up with a message saying that but below it will show up "thank you for your order! Your order has been processed."

But it hasn't, how do I change the words that come up or change it so the checkout page comes up and the error shows there
