Search broken in VM 2.0.1

Hi.
Hope I'm doing the right thing by posting here...
I've updated a VM 1.9.8RC2M to 2.0.1 yesterday.
I upgraded via 2.0.0 RC3 ->2.0.0 ->2.0.1.
The site is running Joomla 1.7.3.

Today I noticed search is not returning any results.

As for the site I enabled Joomla search instead, untill the VM search is fixed

Is this supposed to be fixed in 2.0.1e?
I just updated a copy of the site, and the search behaves as before (not functioning).
