Add to card of a sample product shows zero total

May be a silly problem but am new to VM.
I have vm2RCi on joomla 1.7.2, installed with sample data.
I had a little issue with payment plug ins, but i fix it with the help of the forum.

My problem now is that when i select add to cart of a sample product , total price appears as zero.
After check out now a message says "There are no products in your cart".
I gave it a try with other products but the results are always th same.

Am i doing something wrong? Any help  would be appreciated.

Try upgrading to Vm2 1.98m. I had the same issue with i and k sub releases. Seems to be working now for some reason...
