Shipment Methods does not update prices

Hi to everybody.

Probably it is just a newcomer question, but

How can i update prices for shipping methods:

VM2.0 JOOMLA 1.7.3

I do the next:

1- Go to shipment methods
2- define the method
3- click on save
4- change to "configuration tab"
5- Select ship costs
6- click on save.

On save from step 3 it keeps changes.
On save from step 6 it turns to 0 and does not change anything.

I tried to figure out on database and found several tables with shipping information but no idea which one change as far as there are some fields where I do not know what should i input.

I also think it could be due to a permissions issue on some file, but can't find out which one.

Can anybody give some help?

We know this effects only, when people did a non clean migration from RC2 aka 1.9.8. Please try the new 2.0.1.c. It should solve the problem.
