can't confirm payment by Paypal

hi everybody,
my problem is this-
when client confirm payment on Paypal, it does not work and returns to user login page.
i use Joomla 1.5.22 with VM 1.1.7
i hope that someone can help me....

Check the return url you are sending to paypal to start with.
