Rates not calculated correctly

Hi,

I've been through a lot of posts but can't seem to find an answer to my problem.  I have the USPS module enabled and all my weights and dimensions created but it's not offering the correct shipping.

For example I have a box that weighs 45 lbs that is 13 x 13 x13 inches.  If I offer large flat rate box it still shows up as a possible shipping option even though the dimensions of the product exceed the dimensions of the shipping method.

Is there an update to the USPS shipping module?  If so where would I find it?

The USPS API is "Dumb" in that it returns rates for impossible things, like you've experienced.  It is up to developers to determine if the rate is correct for the given package.  I know of no module which does this.
