To be constructively honest, I find the site to be boring.  Nothing jumps out at me when the site comes up - and it's actually difficult to understand what the site is all about from first glance.  This is something you should strongly consider - as most people's immediate website attention span lasts for about 2-3 seconds. If they aren't hooked (visually) right from the get-go, they will move on.

Not trying to be mean, just trying to help you with your endeavor.

A resource I refer to frequently to check on the latest ecommerce site design trends is http://www.cartcraze.com.
I also check some of the theme makers - such as http://templatemonster.com for ideas/inspiration.


Again, just some constructive criticism toward helping you improve your business project.

Honestly before you said that i was also thinking the same thing but wasn't sure... now im going to focus all my time on eye appeal. I'm stuck on the graphics and module work for this page.

Do you think my rokstories module at the top is ok? also is my logo ok?

I guess I'm a little confused as to what the name of your company actually is.  Is it 'BuildANewComputer.com" or is it "Custom PCs?"  I think you need to kind of figure that one out first and, then, create a logo with your actual company/business name. If you're like me, and have trouble creating cool graphics, I do know that you can get a logo created for you pretty inexpensively at any number of freelance sites - freelancer.com, for example.  Otherwise, there are decent logo creation software apps out there you can utilize.  You can also, do a google image search for various company logos (for inspiration).

I'm not sure what the "rokstories" module is.

Definitely coming along  . . .  though I still think you can do a whole lot better with your logo. I am no graphic artist, but think of your logo as your brand - something that could look good on a shirt or cap or some other promotional item(s).

You know what I like to do when I'm looking for overall inspiration . . . I look through some sites where I know there are decent ecommerce designs, such as www.cartcraze.com or even some of the examples on www.templatemonster.com.

I do think it's coming along, though . . . keep up the good work !!
