Checkout in Chrome does not work

I have a really strange issue that affects Chrome and to a certain degree ie.

The issue with Chrome is a major issue however but I wonder if they are related somehow?

sample site (sandbox install): http://www.mobilenews.im

If I place an order in Firefox and click to go to Paypal, it works without a hitch.

If I place an order in ie8, it will complain about "Do you want to view only the webpage content that was delivered securely" - the site logo is not secure.  Not a major issue, but I find it odd that FF does not complain.

The big issue is with Chrome, when placing an order and going to paypal, paypal will respond with an error saying: "Sorry — your last action could not be completed".

Now, if I go back to the site and click on Account maintenance and click on the order and then the paypal payment link, it works flawlessly.

I found this on an active site that I am working on and I was thinking maybe something else was inter fearing and that's why I set up this vanilla install and I am getting the same thing.

I am running Joomla 1.5.15 and VM 1.1.4.

Any ideas?

Thank You,
Tony

I even added a SSL to my real install (https://cleverplugins.com) but I am getting the same error when checking out with Chrome, so that made no difference.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

You are not alone. As far as I know Chrome is not compatible with Paypal, so don't worry there is nothing wrong about your site. In our site www.planetageek.es we have the same problem so I had to post a warning in the FAQ section. You must tell your customers to use only Firefox or Explorer for checkout. Hopefully google will fix this issue soon, but I have not heard about a solution yet.
