Originally designed in Joomla 1.0.x & Virtuemart 1.0.x > included search engine friendly urls & captcha security > unfortunately these broke during upgrade. The hacks to resolve were too nasty for the moment - implemented ok, but tested to be unstable. Can somebody pls recommend SEF & captcha components that are stable for j1.5.x & vm 1.1.x

By the way, I use SEF 404 and it is effortless and seamless. Requires nothing of me but install and enable SEF in main Joomla config.

@bulabula: quotes are special typography included in template. simply additional css styles & images.

re: sef 404. i was using this with J! 1.0.x + vm 1.0.x but i had issues getting SEF urls for add-to-cart pages, was getting 404 page errors. ditto with J! 1.5.2 + vm 1.1.0. the sef component didnt like ajax add-to-cart.
