Click on "Return to Parent Product" links to "Add New Product"

Hi,

after adding or editing new child products as items, the link "Return to Parent Product" in the left Simple Layout Administration menu links to the "Add New Product" page. If I use the "Return to Parent Product" in the Top Menu, I'm redirected to the Parent Product correctly. Seems to be a bug carried over from 2006 (according to the tracker).

When using Extended Layout, I don't see any "Return to Parent Product" button at all. Is it left out intentionally?
