Product Amount to order for Notify me option

At the moment when a product is out of stock there is no way to know how many persons have requested the product hence no way to know how many of the product(s) to reorder, this hack which is for VM 1.0.x adds a field to product page with how many requested in total.

Please try to implement the hack into VirtueMart 1.1

Great idea. I have been using Vm for about 6 month now, after looking at all the E-com programs on the go and Vm is the best thing since sliced bread!!!

Any way back to the topic in hand, I have searched for and can't find e-mail when out of stock.... No not the customer the person that is running the shop, is this something that I am missing??? Is there a way to be notified? By email when you have an item out of stock...

Which version of VM are you using, I get stock notification (i.e shop owner receives email when stock is low)
