Shop to purchase / shopping list?

I figure this fits under payment modules though no actual payment takes place. What i want to do is a payment module that only creates a purchase / shopping list that the user can print. So what's the correct way? Should I try to build a payment module or should I patch the page that contains the step to go to the checkout? Does this solution already exist? I couldn't find any though...

I solved it by the suggestion in
