This new site  http://www.mdsupplyusa.com/  is for a gifts & collectibles dealer out of FL. We (http://www.traxxinc.com) created this site, using the following technolgies and setup:

- Joomla 1.4
- VirtueMart (latest as of 6/2006)
- CSS (sucker-fish menus), By far the best menuing system for Joomla/Mambo , they work great no complicated javascript, easy css modification to match your site..
- Integrated with PayPal Website payments pro (US only transactions)
- Minor customization for some of the default VM graphics ( The checkout and shopping cart icons could use some work, their a little old in the tooth)

Very nice work , very impressive looks nothing like a regualr joomla site. Very clean design, no overuse of  virtue mart features, nice template.. Very polished, how much does a site like this cost?  I have two companies I'm working with and they are always looking for a quality work..

First of all, very nice site. I LOVE the use of the lightbox photo viewer for viewing larger images... sweet. Also the suckerfish menus are very nice and I agree with you its the best menu system out there. Overall a very appealing site.

I am working on adding very similar functionality to a Joomla site for my client. I found your post because of your mention of Website Payment Pro. Have you had any issues with that? I ask because my client wants to use WPP since it has a low discount rate and he sells bigger ticket items. I read in another post that AMEX has issues with WPP... have you experienced that?

Also, any issues switching the site to https mode at the checkout stage? I need to do more reading in the forums here to see how everyone is doing it, but if you have any gems of knowledge in that area I'd sure be interested in hearing what they are.
