Date of the next version for members?

After encountering some issues during testing to update from VM 3.8.8 10472 to VM 4.2.6.10972, I have everything ready to proceed with the update.

But I see that there are quite a few modifications on dev.virtuemart.net.

Should I wait for the next version for members to be released?
Is there a scheduled date?
