Save/save&close buttons aren't working in configuration

Hello everybody,
i am using joomla 3.4.3 and virtuemart 3.0.9.... as i went to configuration tab it warned me to create a folder

(Error vmError: Warning, the Safe Path is empty, for safety reasons it is very important to create a folder in a path not accessible by an URL or unguessable name, create also a folder 'invoices' and 'keys' in it to store your sensitive data secure. Our suggested path is for your system '/home/prizebox/vmfiles/'.
You can also use complex folder name as 'password' for example '/home/prizebox/public_html/administrator/components/com_virtuemart/DZuxjmikIsF4/'. Use this link to the config)

however, as i made the folder and linked it in the template tab, i can't save it... the save button doesn't work and neither does the save&close button. Please someone help me.
I tried reinstalling joomla and everything but nothing works...
