Registration issue

Hello everyone,

I found a problem while registering in Virtuemart.
Below is how to reproduce the problem.
Webiste with virtuemart 4.0.12 & Joomla 3.10 or Joomla 4.2

Need to have an item menu with Registration button (VirtueMart » Account Maintenance) and the user should not be logged in.
Steps :
Add product in the cart
Click to show cart
Click on checkout now
System asks for login or Registration (index.php/register/editaddresscartBT) --> Type wrong username and password
The system indicates that the connection is not correct and returns to the connection page (index.php/log-out).
Click on Register item menu to create an account (index.php/register)
Fill every fields and click on register
System goes to index.php/component/virtuemart/cart?task=checkout
Billing details are filled but account is not created.

I did the test on several websites. Problem is the same.

Anyone know what's going on?

Is account creation enabled in Joomla users?

Yes. Classic registration is working fine. Issue appears only during Check out process.

I usually use onepagecheckout extension from virtueplanet. Unfortunatly vm is full of bugs
