Suddenly started getting this on one of my shops, no idea when it started, no recent updates that i can think of. I can see others have had this over the years but no recent reports.

"Things don't appear to be working at the moment. Please try again later."

originally PHP 7.3 and now 7.4.26 made no difference.
I am using a onepage checkout but have tried another one and also VM default, all have the same error after "redirecting you to paypal"
Have reinstalled VM, Updated VM plugin tables through AIO
Confirm in Paypal "encrypted website payments" is OFF

Anyone any other suggestions please?

Thanks i have been through all options on that page, nothing helps, still getting the error
I have tried the Sandbox and that works fine

I have tried a different Paypal email though and that works so it must be something in the paypal account, still trawling through...

Sorry guys looks like there is a restriction on this Paypal account, something to do with ID - i should have tried another account email before reinstalling everything !!

Because of the wording and the lack of print screen....
I am not inclined to make a purchase on a unknown site just to test it.  I also missed the info You gave about redirecting to Paypal.
