transaction emails

Hi,

Sometimes lately the transaction emails go to spam so my customers, do not receive there order.
I need to send all transaction joomla & virtuemart emails through a platform like sendgrid etc
Which one do you recommend me?

it is moment when you chenge PHP Mail in global setup joomla to SMTP Mail.
We use this option and email not go to spam.

Or you can use sendgrid if you need
We use too.

Hi,
Unfortunately I can´t configure neither of both.
Mailer: SMTP
SMTP Host: mail.mydomain.com
SMTP Security: SSL/TLS
SMTP Authentication: YES
SMTP Username: myemail@mydomain.com
SMTP Password: my email´s PSW

for sendgrid I ceated an account first and I follow these steps

where
SMTP User I use the user I use for logging in to sendgrid
and SMTP Password I use the PSW I use for logging in to sendgrid

I send a test email and keep getting this error:
SMTP connect failed https://github.com/PHPMailer/PHPMailer/wiki/Troubleshooting
Error
Test mail could not be sent.

Regarding SMTP, this is not a VM issue.

You should check with Your host for SMPT settings f.e PORT and server name.

Finally I managed to make it work with my servers SMTP.
Jörgen, you were right, I had to use a different port.

I would prefer to use a kind of external service for transaction emails such as sendgrid, sendinblue etc
The question is (if someone have used any of these services) which one would you suggest for VM..

I think, I wrote last time, then we used Sengrid for www.hanf-gesundheit.de
