Order only without online payment

Hi
I am working in joomla v3.9.14 and virtuemart 3.6.10.
Am technically challenged and wanted to know if virtuemart can be used as an order system only and not with the online payment facility. I know you can have a catalogue site only. But we would like people to be able to place items in the cart check out and then, they can either do an eft from an invoice raised (sent from us). I know this defeats the whole purpose of online purchases. But is something like this possible and does my request make any sense?

No problems. name the standard payment "Invoice" and add to the workflow. You can duplicate to have other choices COD, Money transfer or what ever You prefer. This is just a plugin that doesn´t do any actual money transfers. Perfect for this kind of setup.
