Point of Sale for Virtuemart?

Hi,

I'd like your advise to create a real Point of Sale synchronized to my Virtuemart eShop.
I need PayPal and cash payments on the physical shop.

I have seen VMiZettle, that integrates VirtueMart and the iZettle POS (Point of Sale).

Do you have alternatives to recommand?

I asked this question because my client (for whom I developped the Joomla/Virtuemart site) needs to manage also a physical shop to sell his products.

What would be the best solution?
I'd prefer to keep VM at the Master central position if possible...

the bad/sad news is I have I think tried them all ( the client actually bought/subscribed to all the ones I could find) and imho they all had major problems and in effect were not usable..
The client has though 100s of cats and 1000's of products so maybe with a much smaller shop some could work.
The biggest problems ( spread across the available scripts) from memory were very poor product search/find, no category separation to enough levels, initial ajax loading of all products so laughably slow etc etc

In the end I built a web based POS  ( which the client is still evaluating )

That's very bad news if there's no pro solution for that. And it's a pity if you tried VMiZettle and got disappointed too...

Yes, in that case, putting Virtuemart in the center and let him rule the whole store (Web + POS) seems to be the solution...

We'd need a web connexion, a Barcode integration for VM products, Payment methods (?) for Payment terminal + Cash.

Generatin Barcode is not a big problem.
Cash is "standard" paiement
More complex is perhaps Payment terminal, but alatak.net wrote a Offline Credit Card Processing plugin but i dont know if this is the right solution.
I found this https://www.mypos.eu/fr, perhaps you can integrate it in Virtuemart too ?
About the POS, you can do a specific template for it, to completly change the design and have similar functions as a POS.
