Payment depending on Shipment?

Hello,

Is it possible to make payment methods depending on the Shipment?

e.g.
Shipment: "Pick up at the store" ---> Payment: "Pay at the store"

but disable "Pay at the store" for all other shipment methods.

I do however recommend a native implementation in a future VM release. I consider this to be an essential function rather than a "nice to have".
